What We Do
We will have periodic meetings after school in S201. Listen to the announcements or check here for updates.
We will plan periodic fishing trips to various places throughout the area. We will try to have as many as possible and
go to as many different places as we can. We will have most of our trips in the Fall & Spring. Weather is always a factor,
so we have to plan accordingly. Check here for dates, times, and directions for upcoming fishing trips.
We will learn proper fishing ettique, safety, and skills. We will discuss the different types of fish, bait, and fishing
techniques. Some of our members are very experienced while others are just beginners.
We will have 2 contests this year: Biggest Fish Caught and Most Fish Caught. We will keep records at each trip of how
many fish each person caught and the length of thos fish. Each winner at the end of the year will receive a prize.
Rules
You must obtain and return a signed permission slip BEFORE we go on a trip.
You must follow all etiquette and safety guidelines while fishing.
You must provide your own rod, reel, tackle, and bait. The school does NOT.
You must obtain your own transportation to & from the trips. The school does NOT provide bussing to
or from fishing trips. You must be picked up by the end of the trip time or you will not be permitted on the future trips.
Parents/Guardians are welcomed to join us on trips & fish with your child.
